I have been coming to the Spur for 8 years. I have done Prairie Dog Shooting, Mule Deer, Antelope and Elk hunting. The Staff, Guides and Cowboys are all top-notch people, and the accommodations are great. I have filled every tag i have had with them. I have filled every Tag i have had with them and the country is spectacular. You simply cannot go wrong with the Spur!

I have hunted with Spur Outfitters for over 15 years. They have always provided top notch service. The accommodations are clean and comfortable while the food is excellent. The entire staff is great but the guides really work their tails off to ensure a successful and memorable experience!

Great accomodations for six at the headquarters. Abundant alfalfa acreage for consistent ground squirrel and prairie dog hunting. Excellent post hunt fresh cooked dinners served off the spacious living area.

I had an awesome experience last fall with Spur Outfitters! The accommodations and the food were great. The ranch is spectacular and contains tons of interesting game and non-game animals. My guide and I hit it off immediately - like we'd known each other for years. He has unlimited knowledge of the ranch, the surrounding territory and the people & creatures that inhabit it. We had a great hunt culminating in an unforgettable stalk on a beautiful buck. The deer on my wall is much more than a trophy. I have hunted the Spur ranch properties as a guided hunt as well as a ranching for wildlife hunter for elk. I love the area and the properties. The guided hunt was excellent in regards to the guides and hospitality! The ranching for wildlife hunt was the same access to their properties without guides. I can highly recommend the guided hunt! The guides know the area and where the elk are moving. These properties are migratory routes to winter grounds for elk and as such are subject to weather in any given year. The lodge and accommodations are unsurpassed in any elk camp I have been too. Easy for older hunters and novices alike....but challenging enough for the most experienced hunter!
