Shoshone Lodge & Guest Ranch

This was one of our best holidays ever. We started to plan our trip to yellowstone in February and from our very first E-mail to Betsy & Mike they were so very helpful. We arrived for their last week of the season, every member of their staff was friendly and helpful, even on the diner ride up in the hills when it rained the wranglers and cooks all kept smiling. The 2 trips into Yellowstone were just fantastic, which had been our main reason for going to the US. We cannot say enough about how good the Shoshone is. Betsy, MIke and all your staff thank you for such a fantastic holiday

WOW - what a great 6 days at the Shoshone Lodge! Mike and Betsy and their 2 kids Calli and Cade and about 20 additional helpers and staff turned out to be incredible people! Caring, helpful, professional, thoughtful, kind, and intresting and very easy to get to know. And the schedule they suggested for the week was perfect. We opted for 2 full days in Yellowstone since we had never seen it. And had a blast the day that started with a horseback ride up to breakfast, then back down and a drive into Cody for a guided raft trip. Then hung out for a bit in Downtown Cody, then off to a dinner show with awesome food and performers, then finished with the Cody Rodeo. Our 21 and 23 year old kids couldn't stop talking about it. And if you wanted to do something other than what they planned - NO PROBLEM - Betsy and Mike made it happen. I went fly fishing and my oldest son did a very long hike accompanied by Nate - the Lodge's hiking expert. We waited over a year to find an opening (my first clue this was a great place) - but we were so glad we waited. Betsy and Mike and their kids and staff made this a perfect trip - in a perfectly beautiful corner of our world! I highly recommend Shoshone Lodge!

Shoshone Ranch was EXCEPTIONAL in every way. From the first "hello" to the final day drop off at the airport Mike, Betsy and staff treated us like family. There was NOTHING about our trip that we did not LOVE. We have not stopped talking about our trip since getting home. So much good food, great fun, wilderness adventures and best of all....making new friends. I can't say enough about this ranch....you will not be disappointed. It was magical in every way. We got to mark so many things off our bucket list. Thank you Shoshone Ranch for giving us memories to cherish forever.

I can`t say enough good things about Shoshone Guest Ranch. Great location, great food and drink, unbelievable staff and activities. The Wranglers were the best I have ever encountered, the horses were paired to the riders experience and needs and the excursions to Yellowstone were fantastic. I highly recommend Shoshone! Fabulous , simply Fabulous!

Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch far exceeded our expectations. We stayed at the Ranch for five days in July, 2025. We had two teenagers, two senior citizens, and one adult in our group. There was something for everyone at this ranch. The amount of ranch activities and the proximity to Yellowstone Park made it an ideal vacation. The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting that we knew right from the start that it would be a memorable vacation. Our whole family highly recommends Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch.
