Our 4-day/3-night Grand Teton and Yellowstone Wildlife Adventure was nothing short of magical—and that’s largely thanks to our incredible guide, Patrick Kenney. From the moment we met him, Patrick’s deep knowledge of the region’s wildlife and terrain was evident. He wasn’t just a guide—he was a passionate naturalist, storyteller, and wildlife whisperer rolled into one. His commitment to helping us spot every animal on our “bucket list” was unwavering. Whether it was wolves at dawn, grizzlies at dusk, or elusive moose tucked into the trees, Patrick made it happen. Let's not forget 'Limpy' the coyote, black bear, momma grizzly and her cubs, bugling Elk, countless Pronghorn, stampeding bison, and the grand finale of watching Old Faithful erupt. What truly set him apart were the extra miles—literally and figuratively—he went to ensure we had a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He took us on detours to hidden lookouts that most tours skip, giving us breathtaking views and rare sightings. One morning, he even made a spontaneous breakfast run in Cooke City. This is a gesture we’ll never forget. And then there’s his “eagle eye” magic. Patrick spotted animals we hadn’t even considered—wolves trailing just behind the bison, eagles soaring overhead or perched in distant pines, and a cluster of mountain goats balanced effortlessly on rocky cliffs that seemed invisible to the rest of us. It was like he had a sixth sense for wildlife. Every moment felt curated, intentional, and full of wonder. If you’re considering this adventure, do yourself a favor and request Patrick! He doesn’t just guide you through Yellowstone—he reveals it to you in ways you never imagined.
We had an amazing time in Teton National Park thanks to our guide, Kirstin. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and so funny and friendly. Kirstin went out of her way to find wildlife for us, and even helped us meet our goal of spotting not just one, but THREE moose! What a truly magical day. She is the BEST!
Had an incredible private tour of Yellowstone with BrushBuck. My guide Mark was super intelligent and vastly experienced with Yellowstone knowledge of both Geysers and Animals. It was a true pleasure and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation! I will definitely go back in the future and next time do the upper loop. Check out a few cool pics! Amazing 5-Day Alaska Adventure with Brushbuck Wildlife Tours! My husband and I just completed a 5-day adventure tour in Alaska (Kenai Fjords & Denali National Park) with Brushbuck Wildlife Tours last week, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The itinerary was absolutely top-notch! You really get to see the essentials of Alaska in just five days. We only wish we had more time. Our tour guide was Haeli, and I honestly can't say enough good things about her. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the region, its wildlife, and the history of every place we visited. She was also super accommodating and flexible with everyone’s needs (and a great driver to top it off!). Our group jokingly started calling Haeli our lucky charm because everything just aligned perfectly. The weather cooperated (we got a rare clear view of Denali’s peak!), and we had some incredible wildlife sightings. From a rare glimpse of Dall sheep in Chugach State Park on Day 1 (thanks to Haeli’s sharp eye!) to a great bus tour in Denali National Park. We were so impressed by our experience that we're already talking about planning more trips with Brushbuck (and we’re definitely hoping Haeli will be our guide again). If you're looking for a well-organized, immersive, and memorable trip, this is it. Highly recommended!
We did two tours with Brushbuck and had an amazing time both times! We had Chris for a short Sunset Safari through the Tetons and had Kyle for a full day in lower Yellowstone. Both guides were incredibly knowledgeable and were a great time. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting for only a few days, the full day tour in Yellowstone was great! We got to see all the main hot spots as well as a few guide-recommended spots that were breathtaking. We even got to see a Black Bear up close and a Grey Wolf!
