Trophy Whitetail Hunts

Wow! what a weekend! A place with everything you could want to gather with family and friends. Bobbie and Matt were always one step ahead of us whether it was preparing a meal or setting up targets for us to practice. My wife and I loved our room and were surprised how a place with a lodge feel could also be luxurious comfort. This place has focused on the details to create something special. We will be back!

I am looking forward to my third year hunting with my new family of friends in West Virginia. In 2023 I wanted to take my son on a hunt of a lifetime, came back in 2024 and have booked a hunt in 2025. Every year the hospitality, food, accommodations, and of course the hunting guides make memories I will never forget. Don’t let this paradise pass you by, book now you will not regret it .

If it was possible to give 6 stars, I would. What a wonderful experience! Steve, Bobbie and crew could not have been more accommodating. The food and lodging was spectacular! Steve "customized " the perfect 4 day experience for my group of 5. We shot skeet and had some of the best pheasant hunting you could ask for on this spectacular piece of property. Steve also made arrangements for some terrific smallmouth bass fishing on the New River and Muskie fishing in Ohio. Our guide throughout our entire trip, Tony, could not have been any more enjoyable to be with. I truly consider the entire staff friends after just one trip. I have already made arrangements to go back in 2025 and plan to make this my new "Happy Place"!! Thank you all for making my 70th birthday so special! Ernie W.

This was by far the best hunting preserve my son and I have ever been to. From the time I called to inquire about a hunt to the time we left the property we were treated like old friends. My son, father, and I have been hunting elk on preserves for the last three years and there is no contest…Trophy Whitetail Hunts at Goldtown delivered!! The accommodations were fantastic and cannot think of anything we went without. Bobbie’s cooking and hospitality was absolutely amazing. Ross was our guide and we learned a ton from him which will help us when we try our luck out west next year. Though our time with Steve, the owner, was limited we had a great time talking with him and greatly appreciate his family providing this amazing opportunity for us on his family’s property.

Spent the weekend at the property to celebrate my son’s birthday. The lodge exceeded my expectations-large rooms, beautiful decor, large, open floor plan on main floor with more than enough room for us to play games, get cozy by the fireplace, or break into small groups and catch up on family happenings. Our meals (prepared by Bobbie) were delicious. The scenery was awesome. Looking forward to another visit when weather is warmer.
