Deer Haven Acres

We've been here many times and have had a wonderful time. The lodge is so beautiful. I've never seen anything like it. There was lots of space for all of us with the 3 floors. I love sitting on the upper deck with my coffee watching the deer and listening to the bull frogs on the island. Taking a dip in the pool is so refreshing the kids loved it! The fishing and paddle boats were fun. There was hardly any mosquitoes. We also liked that it was a short drive to the Dells. We enjoyed the privacy and the relaxing atmosphere Deer Haven provides. The phone reception was poor. THANK YOU Bob and Arlene for your hospitality! We will be back. ❤

Had a blast at this amazing place!!! It's was perfect for our family vacation!! Mind you that's 26 people and 12 of them are children. Deer haven was so peaceful and relaxing I was so sad to leave. The owners pet bird, Rudy, was so sweet! The deer were the best part for the children. They also enjoyed the fishing, row boat, and frog catching! It's was nice they had a big pool to swim in as well. I couldn't believe how big the place is. There's enough space for us to have our own privacy. It's the perfect place to go stargaze on the top balcony. Our family I cannot wait to go back next year and make even more memories!!

Deer Haven Acres was a wonderful place for our family to vacation last week! The owners we’re very friendly and accommodating. They made us feel at home. We were so pleasantly surprised to see such a hugh and spacious home and that we all had plenty a room not only in the house but on all three decks of the home. The View off the main deck was good but the view from the top deck was amazing ! There was plenty of room for the 26 people in our family. (12 children under eight. ) The game room was nice for the fellows to gather and play cards/pool table games. We all loved the pool outside and spent plenty of time there. The deer were the highlight for everyone. One of my grandsons loved deer number 29. 🦌 And the Albino one, who was a sweetheart. The place was so relaxing. As a grandmother, I felt the children were safe and they had plenty of room to have safe fun. There was a couple stores 15 minutes away which was handy for when we forgot things . A definite plus. The row boat, paddle boat , and floating dock, gave everyone special moments to catch fish and make memories. All The kids loved the different frogs from tadpoles to medium frogs to huge huge and gigantic frogs !! We will be back again to make more happy memories.

I was over at Deer Haven with a group of 14 people August of 2017. The lodge adequately slept everyone with room to spare. The accommodations were great and everything was very clean. -We spent time out on the property checking out the deer and at the pond throwing mepps spinners for a variety of fish. Additionally, we enjoyed some time cooling off in the pool after a friendly game of volleyball. A few guys made it into the hot tub in the evening, but I personally did not. (Sounded like they enjoyed it.) Overall, everyone had a wonderful stay and I would recommend for family reunions, gatherings, or corporate style retreats.

Spent an amazing family weekend at a wonderful lodge. Extremely well equipped, with things for the adults, the teens, and the little kids. I highly recommend morning coffee on one of the decks, just watching the deer. We would definitely do this again as Bob was a terrific host.
