We just returned from a fabulous stay the the Casia Lodge and Ranch. What a beautiful place! I can't say enough great things. The culinary cuisine, accomodations, horses, staff and the best owners! This lodge will be our getaway for many years to come. I miss it already! If you get a chance.......Highly recommend!! Easy to get there and once you arrive, you are in for a treat!
"Oh, I noticed you walking around for a while. Can I help you?" I have some mixed reviews on this location; however, I would stay again to get a better feel an experience. Upon entering the property everything was very well labeled, and you were able to easily find the hotel by following the signed on the road. You passed the stables before getting to the main building. All animals are happy, healthy, and very friendly. Upon walking into the hotel, the front desk was not super well labeled, and I found no one to talk to. I had wandered the property for about 20 minutes before coming back to the lobby and someone finally stopped me with the quote above. I had noticed her actively watching me throughout my search for help, but I was only stopped once I came back to the front. To get checked in we had to find a second person, and he walked us around the property showing us all the different amenities and how to access them. After that we explored on our own and spent most of our time on the back deck of our room. The room we stayed in was very clean and welcoming. Our back deck had an amazing view of the valley and mountains beyond. Overall, I would come back, as the food and hotel amenities are amazing. This is also a good spot to stay if you are planning to do some bigger hiking trails on that side of the North Cascades.
This was honestly one of the best stays I’ve ever had! The staff were super nice and friendly, and even helped me before I checked in by sending a list of restaurants to try in town. We stayed in the Terrace Suite—it was spacious, really pretty, and had this beautiful European vibe. Loved everything here! The hot tub, the pool, and the food at the restaurant were all amazing (the pasta and steak were sooo good). I also really love the Greek yogurt and chia seed pudding at breakfast! Very delicious!! Huge thanks to all the staff, especially Debbie and Jason, for keeping this place awesome. Can’t wait to come back!
Perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, outdoors, elevated cuisine and service. From horse rides around the property to movie night in the theater room to cocktails in the great room to incredible dinners, every moment was memorable and truly breathtaking. Staff and owners were attentive yet discreet, and the guest chef event was a special treat on top of everything. Return visit a must!
Casia Lodge is run by good people, I got the feeling the owners and staff care about the quality of what they do and the relationships with their guests. It seems like their big thing is connection with nature through horses, landscape and fishing as well as high quality food from their award winning chef and owner. I opted to take a cooking class from Jason, this included a 5 course meal following the class and included cocktails, mocktails and wine throughout the experience. The class was fully catered to what I wanted to learn as specific or broad and designed to my dietary preferences and needs. I also had the sweetest pleasure of interaction with Sous Chef Eduardo, he listens, pays attention and shows his love through food and he's damn good at it, just a gem of a person. The value of the experience is well worth the cost, my room was $171/night, I had plenty of space, a comfy bed, private balcony, quiet peace. I had the plus of 2 sweet neighbors that befriended me during my stay. I will be coming back for sure and I'm excited to share this place with people I love. I did have some disappointments, it seems as though these are owners that aren't new to running a business but new to running an Inn and they're working out the kinks of running an Inn. For example they advertise yoga on the website but they don't offer this, I booked this place in part, for that reason and this was a bummer. They had an equestrian clinic during my stay so horseback riding was not available to guests, another bummer. They offer a continental breakfast, I alerted them of my allergy but this was not attended to my first morning and it took me over 2 hours to find food that I could eat. They did make a special breakfast for me the next morning. They did accommodate but I wish they had gotten things together for my full stay. Communication seems like the biggest area of growth. All that said, these are clearly good people, they care, dining guests come back year after year for special occasions, I'll certainly be back. Enjoy!
