Super fun facility for our family reunion. The owners were very responsive to our family and any needs. The “dining hall/recreation room” is a great large space for families to play pool, ping pong, or just hang out. The are also remains very cool with their air conditioning. The large kitchen in the back of the dining was great for preparing meals for large groups. The grass area was great for playing outside games and we really enjoyed the pool. The rooms had plenty of beds and bathrooms for our families needs. Great place to stay! We will definitely be back!
My son and I enjoyed a quiet, convenient 4 night stay close to the job we were working on. We didn’t take advantage of any amenities, but there appeared to be a number of outdoor activities available. Located in cedar and juniper, we witnessed a number of turkey and deer around the property. Joe was very helpful and accommodating. A minor quibble; we both felt the beds were too firm for our comfort, but we’d happily stay again when we’re in the area.
Super cute fun place. The kids loved exploring the property and finding fun things to do. They brought their bikes and rode back and forth to the playground and pickle ball courts. The pill was closed for the season but it looked like fun. Would definitely stay here again. Would be a great place for a family reunion.
Wind Walker Homestead is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you arrive, you can feel the warm and welcoming country atmosphere. The owners, Joe and Bob, are absolutely top-notch — they go above and beyond to make every guest feel right at home. The amenities are wonderful, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay, including a great pool that’s perfect for unwinding. The value is unbeatable, offering high quality at a fair price. If you’re looking for a peaceful country getaway with genuine hospitality, Wind Walker Homestead is the place to be. Highly recommend!
We had a large group for a family reunion stay at wind walker. There were plenty of accommodations for those who wanted a room or to tent. We rented our the dining hall also, which was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The host was so helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. He even took our family picture for us. We loved our time there, and would love to stay again!
