This was such a great experience for me and my family. We got here 20 after opening. Here's my advice get here early and plan for a wait in line. It was so worth it. Bring cash to get some food and hot coco. I highly recommend coming here! Our guide was Sage he was amazing we had questions and he was more than willing to answer.

I met two of my children and their families to go see the elk. My grandchildren range in age from 3 months to 14 years. We had a wonderful time together riding through the herd and visiting the education center! Several of the children made bird feeders, some made bookmarks, and all of us had an enjoyable time! As we were leaving, a bald eagle flew over. After seeing wild turkeys and elk, the eagle made the visit complete! Great for all ages and interests!

This place never disappoints!! I love coming here. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I love taking the wagon rides and seeing all of the elk. There is always something delicious at the food truck.

As we entered the WMA we were met by a moose peeking through the brush, what a surprising welcome. We were able to see the amazing elk in a generally natural environment. The education center provides a good background of the area and all the local wildlife. Our guide 'Reilly' provided great info on the habitat of the elk and kept us entertained as well. Although this may be the last weekend of the season, mark your calendars for next year. Definitely recommend.

Wow!!! We have gone twice this year now. It's so beautiful and incredible to be that close to these majestic, wild and free animals. All the information provided on the ride is always so educational and positive for us to hear about the elk.
