It is a magical place full of positive and welcoming energies, in which you connect with nature and its roots, the horses, its strength and the beautiful oliver, a wonderful cat who thinks he is a dog, besides that, the attention of Edward as host is what best of all and you feel at home; I highly recommend it. I would love to live there; They offer many additional services: horseback riding, delicious food service, massages, boating, excursions and bonfires is the best.
Ed and Ninoska were such great host's we enjoyed our stay at their beautiful ranch very much. It was one of the highlights of our trips! Ninoska's cooking was fabulous! We plan to come back again in the spring. We highly recommend this spot if you're going through the gorgeous Uintah Basin.Thank you so much for the hospitality!
When I say that we had the time of our lives, I don’t mean that lightly. We were comfortable, you can see every star in the sky, and it was overall the best trip I’ve been on! We will be back. Thank you Edward and Oliver the cat :)
Awesome place! I originally found this on air bnb and decided to try it out. It's in the town of Fruitland Utah, its a small town about an hour east of Park City and a 10 minute drive away from Strawberry Reservoir. I originally wanted to check this place out because I came into town to do some fishing. The fishing is pretty good at the reservoir. There is also opportunities to hunt nearby in the high Uinta wilderness. I also bring my motorcycle as there are lots of places to go off-roading close to here. The Lost horse Ranch is an interesting place, it's a nice cabin in the woods that has a rustic feel to it but has all of the modern touches as well. The owner of the property Ed, adds to the ambiance of the place, He's a rugged cowboy type guy that also happens to be sophisticated and has some interesting stories to tell if you ask.In addition to the main cabin, there is a cool teepee that you can stay in, that's actually a bonus in my opinion for anyone looking for more of an adventure or story to tell. There is access to shooting recurve bows and there is also horse riding available that you can coordinate through Ed. I highly recommend trying this out when you are in town and it's a good experience and economical as well. Prices range from around 28-35 dollars a night for rooms. Matt S
