Spent the weekend at Falcon’s Ledge and it was spectacular. The Lodge is nestled in a Canyon, surrounded by 600 acres and Private Lakes. John Rock, the lead guide is a fabulous host. Our room was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. Love this place

We love Falcon's Ledge! We take a family retreat here in the springtime each year. There are plenty of rooms for our family of 20. The rooms are well appointed, and offer privacy, ensuite bathrooms, and a bed for everyone. Lots of room to gather and space to spread out as well. It has a lovely "feels like home" vibe that makes everyone comfortable.

My wife and I went to an Orvis Flyfishing school hosted by Falcon Ledge lodge. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the food was great but what made the trip special was the feeling that we were part of a family by the staff. They went out of their way to ensure we were having the experience we anticipated. Our guide, John Rock, was a great instructor and even though I have much more fly-fishing experience than my wife we both learned a great deal from him. The guides that instructed at the school are the same guides that regularly work for the lodge's guests year round. We were very pleased with our trip.

Falcon's Ledge is a nice resort tucked just outside of Altamont. The scenery is beautiful with several man-made lakes close by. The building is nice as well with eight (or so) rooms for all of the guests. The kitchen is open with a chef who cooks all meals. There is a fridge where you can bring your beverages of choice as well as a fridge stocked with drinks and other food items for guests. The fly fishing instruction was very good. I had never fly fished before and wasn't sure I would enjoy it but I was wrong. The guides were friendly, knowledgable, and really made it an enjoyable and memorable experience. If you're interested in fly fishing I would recommend giving this place a shot. They managed to get me from having never fly fished before to casting with confidence by the end of the day.

Modest lodge that probably was a show place in the 80s but needs significant updates. They work hard to please, but they really need to upgrade the facility and do more maintenance around their fishing ponds. The swimming pool was excellent!
