Escalante Ranch

I went hunting with Frank Biggs last year and had a great hunt., while talking and looking around the ranch i found out just how much of a business man Frank Biggs really is . the upgrades this year to the ranch its self are incredible. if i where the owner id be pleased. production will follow a great well maintained place as you have at the Escalante ranch!! as far as the hunt , well you know it is late season hunting. the birds are a little slow, but ill tell yall this !! Frank Biggs knows and manages his hunts and birds very well . we had the opportunity to kill birds and we did. Me and my 11 year old was treated to not only a great hunt but a great conversation with Mr Biggs and his supper nephew MAX, who helped in chancing down our not so great (shot) cripples, we want to say thank you. all in all this is a great and beautiful place to spend some time away. so even if your not hunting its a great place to spend some time. Dinosaur national monument is just across the river so any time of the year will work if you want a beautiful get away, and not to mention the great treatment and hospitality you will get from Frank and his crew of people at the Escalante Ranch. i will also say if i owned a Ranch i would not want anyone but Mr Frank Biggs running it for me. again Thank You!!!!for the great pleasure we had at your place. i highly recommend anyone to this place!!

Frank and his crew are hard workers and really care for the wildlife that spends time on the property. It was my uncle and my brothers first time hunting elk. What an awesome place.

What an amazing experience, my father and I came out here for a trophy bull hunt. I expected a good hunt... but what we got was MUCH MUCH more! The outfitter really knows these animals! He has so much care and respect for them and the land! He isn’t just an outfitter but a full time rancher as well! Hard worker... oh and his guides are top notch young gentlemen, super enthusiastic about hunting, and doing things the rite way! They are also hard working ranch hands... On top of all this the bunkhouse was comfortable and cleaner than my home! Not to mention the best home cooked meals that you will ever have on a hunt... I don’t often do reviews of places but I just felt like the Escalante Ranch deserves it! Great job everyone! 100% recommended!

Even there many times. The Staff works their butt off. Good quality bull. Cow hunts are great meat hunts, but are weather dependent. But always a great time. Love combining a goose hunt and elk hunt together season permitting.

What a gem. An oasis in the middle of dinosaur land complete with elk and geese and antelope. The ranch manager is so knowledgeable- he is a captain of everything and runs his ship with passion and commitment. I’ll go back whenever I can!
