Defa's Dude Ranch

I absolutely love this place it was my first time going the cabin I stayed in was small but great it was clean and cozy everybody was so friendly the bathrooms was nice and clean the showers on the women side not so much but overall clean and a great place for a mini vacation you do need to bring your own bedding and pillows they have a mini fridge and a wood stove if you get cold we did not need to use it

I have been coming up here for the last 15 years. In my opinion, it’s heaven on earth.

Great place to get away and relax. The family that runs the place is very welcoming and friendly. We had a great time at the saloon and the cafe breakfast was great!

This place is amazing!!! I love it here. The people are so friendly and welcoming and helpful. They have restrooms and showers that are located away from the cabins a little bit. The bar is small but super fun!!!! We came unprepared and didn't bring any food and they went into the lil restaurant they have (that was closed for the night) and made us something to eat!!!

Not enough positivity can be said about this Ranch! An experience you need to have yourself! You can do a little bit of everything, now that you are no longer stuck to your cell phone. Thank God for the bad reception in this area, (I really hope that's on purpose.) This is definitely one of those places you go to get away from technology and enjoy your surroundings and the people in those surroundings. You can fish, hike, horseback ride and the camping selections are endless! If you prefer large groups, small groups, tents cabins or grass under the stars, they provide it. If you have an RV or camper, they have the space plus some. Have a dog or five? Bring them, they will have fun too! You can find a cafe for those who don't feel like cooking. And just across the way is a tavern if you'd like a cocktail or a friendly game of pool.
