Walton Ranch Bird Hunting

West and his guys are absolutely top notch! Always a great time, and great hunt. Good dogs, and guides. Bird cleaners are awesome too. You pretty much show up at the hunting Lodge sign in go meet your guide they go put birds out come back and get you you go out load up and hunt and dogs are on birds instantly. It is an amazing thing just to bring customers out for a quick shoot! Also pheasant look beautiful mounted. 10 out of 10. I e been twice in the past two months.

I visit with my godfather on a regular basis. This is a fine place to hunt. Wes is a good man to work with and Craig is our favorite guide. From my experience, all of the dogs are exceptional.

We go every year and always have a great time. Jerry was our guide with Tito, Bear, Lucky and Pete (I think) Great Dogs. We brought home 53 quail, 10 chucker, 6 pheasant.

As mentioned by many other reviews for Walton Ranch, the process for planning and checking in for your hunt is simple and straightforward. Your guide will assist you after conversing before the hunt. Thank goodness for the guide dogs. They can find those birds.

This was the closest to wild bird hunting as you can get. The birds exploded well on covey rise; flying fast and long……..except for the unlucky ones. We purchased to have a mixture of 66 quail/pheasant released, and we harvested 51. Excellent guide (Craig) and dog (Bear, Trump, Saddle, Addie) work. I really enjoyed their walk and hunt method— opposed to the ride and hunt style offered elsewhere. Good People providing Good Product!
