Top-Flight Hunting Preserve

Top-Flight Hunting Preserve was the spot for our bachelor’s party. Bryan, our guide, was top-notch, and let me tell you about those dogs – absolute showstoppers. Their coordination and skill were a sight to behold, taking our hunting experience to a whole new level. Now, the only hiccup: practice clays. This may not be much to some people but we were supposed to get 20 clays each, but we ended up with about 15 for the whole group. More practice would’ve been ideal for us first-timers. To add to it, after we finished our hunt, we noticed them loading more clays for the next group – a bit of a letdown since it was in our package deal. But Bryan and those dogs, they stole the show. Their performance made the day unforgettable. Despite the hiccup, we aced it in the field 40+ birds, so we’re willing to look past the clay situation. Overall, an outstanding day with the dogs stealing the spotlight.

Our group has been going to Top Flight for 5 years. It’s very nice to have a place for planted bird hunts to utilize for a get together and get our dogs on some birds so we appreciate that and the staff is usually nice. Unfortunately it is apparent that there is a deterioration occurring and each year the place becomes a bit more shoddy and dilapidated. No road maintenance, the building are in disrepair and simple things like tidiness or repair of the toilet is not on the agenda. The fields are slowly being overgrown with invasive McCartney rose and this is hard on walking safely and for the dogs who are covered in thorns. The last trip an employee was so rude we were just speechless and walked away. The office is just a shambles. We will continue to go to Top Flight but we definitely aren’t taking potential clients there. Really hoping there is the opportunity for Top Flight to invest in some maintenance and begin thriving in this sense as it is such a great property with so much potential.

Had a great experience working my young dog on some birds. Employees were very helpful and had the birds waiting for me when I arrived. Birds flew great.

Quail are delicious wrapped in bacon👌 Our guide was awesome and enjoyed the hunt. Bunks could be a little better. Dinner was good. Probably best kolache I've ever had.
