In 2023 we hosted a staff retreat and workshop at Moody Ranch, the staff were amazing, efficient and friendly. Food, drinks and service was wonderful! And the wildlife tour after our event- was PERFECT! We will always recommend MRO to anyone looking for a spot to meet, hunt, fish, or host an event!

Moody Ranch Outfitters is excellent. The facilities are top notch, very clean and the lodge house is amazing. All the meals were great, flavorful, unique and enjoyable. I have had a Texas hog hunt on my bucket list for 10 years. This was the year and my son and I made our journey from Wisconsin to Texas. The guides were awesome , lots of hogs on the property and we even went on a morning bass fishing trip on a lake on the property. Best fishing of our whole lives! We shot several hogs and can’t wait to get the meat processing done. We truly had an amazing experience and made lifelong memories and new friends. My best friend and I had a girls trip overnight out here. We went thermal hog hunting. Jeremy was great! We each got a hog, enjoyed delicious food and sat out by the camp fire for hours. Michael and JD are top notch. They pay close attention to detail and ensured that a couple of first time hunters were comfortable, informed and had a great time. We can not wait to do it again!

Some friends and I had a group hunt and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had hunting. Tons of deer, hogs and other edible wildlife. The land is beautiful and the owner, Michael Moody is knowledge, friendly, funny and approachable. And the same goes for his staff and guides. The lodge was very comfortable with all of the amenities one would need. The Moody Ranch is highly recommended by me and my friends. We are already planning a return hunt. Myself and my hunting buddy Doug drove all the way down here from Wisconsin in 2019 to shoot us some hogs. This place was fantastic, the ranch was beautiful, the hosts especially Mike were fantastic. They really take care of you here and do all they can to make sure you have a good time and great hunt. They also had a couple kids here that were great at skinning and quartering hogs...and so respectful ...gotta love Texas and Moody Ranch
