My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had an absolutely amazing time. The location is perfect for Houstonians looking for a fun getaway from the city. The property is in outstanding shape - the sunset cabin was romantic and cozy, highly recommend the outdoor hot tub and beautiful morning view of the pond. The staff is excellent - shout out to Richard in particular for being such a kind and funny guide for our archery and animal safari activities. Carol is extremely responsive and helpful, thank you so much again for making our stay so amazing. We will be coming back soon!

We went for a romantic weekend and it was beautiful 😍. Little more rural and rustic than expected went in my bmw 3 series and wouldn't do that again as lots of dirt and gravel road. Take your own food or book the packages on offer for BBQ because everything food wise is over 30 minutes drive. Google will tell you 20. It takes 5 minutes to exit the ranch and there isn't any way your driving 60 Mph on gravel road until you hit main roads. I will say I think the pricing is a little high on the accommodation and the activities. If you price top dollar I have to review you as such. The accommodation was Charming although it needs a deep clean and some of the fabrics replaced, holes and stains etc. I'd stay again but not in the same cabin. Stayed in Mystic. The biggest miss price for me was the safari, it was fun but not 98 dollars of fun given the lack of animal diversity and lack of knowledge of the guide. I wanted to know how many animals, more detail about them etc and was told he would have to check with maintenance guy as wasn't sure. He also never stopped so feeding was us trying to feed animals while they were running and we were moving this might be normal but it's not what I expected from similar experiences I've done in the past. Location is beautiful, wildlife stunning, staff very helpful when you do have a problem. I ordered breakfast which was meant to be in the fridge but was missing upon arrival they got it over within an hour. We would go again for sure. Like I said if I didn't feel like the prices were top end I'd feel more value and these little niggles wouldn't be an issue.

BlissWood was a dream! Anyone seeking an authentic texas experience, this is the Ranch for you :) I was even able to bring my dog along, which was amazing and is usually hard to find. We stayed on-site in their cozy cabin and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It's very quiet, peaceful, yet warm and welcoming. We had a fishing lake right by the house! I will be back again & again.
