The Outdoor Campus

Large outdoor park and trail system. Free to public. They host educational classes and activities. There is a small lake with supervised fishing and an archery range. Great place to take kids or for a nature walk. Located next to Sertoma Park. A great place to check out!

Wonderful free site There are a few indoor activities and exhibits. Outside there are several trails including trail books, or scavenger hunts for kids. There is a gathering area for events that has some small play items for presentations. They have a huge list of events. They always have more offerings than the West campus, making me wish I lived closer for the events.

A few turtles inside the Outdoor campus building, a frog, and a little snake in a side room. There are scheduled activities, look on site or stop and grab schedules from outdoor campus building to see where, when, and what. Public restrooms. There's seating areas outside in back of building. A lovely walking path by the river. There's is a sampling of activity play area by the back side of building for kids.

Gorgeous trails, no litter & happy faces everywhere! Perfect place for a first stop in South Dakota if you fly in to Sioux Falls!

The best nature area nestled in the middle of our little city. Great trails for walking/running, fun photo opportunities, and a perfect place for families to bring young children.
