Very home like atmosphere, the food was awesome, we really enjoyed our Fishing Trip and our guide Todd. We will definitely be going back for another fishing trip. We would recommend this place to everyone. Amanda and Joel are great to work with.

I absolutely loved this trip. The hunts were well planned and thought out. Joel was very knowledgeable on the hunts and about pheasants. Amanda does an amazing job at keeping the lodge comfortable and clean. The food was delicious. The staff was personable and polite. 100% recommend to anyone thinking about guided hunts and will definitely be returning in the future.

Came for a 5 day pheasant hunt in early December with friends. The lodge was amazing, clean and roomy with tons of taxidermy on the walls. Comfortable beds and even the pillows were very comfortable. The breakfasts and dinners they served were delicious. Great guides/ dogs worked their butts off to make our hunts memorable, fun and last of all, tons of birds. I have to say that I’ve been on quite a few guided hunts in my lifetime but, this was definitely the best hunting experience I’ve ever had. I plan On making this a yearly hunt with friends and family! Also, Joel was great to work with. I had Many questions before my trip and he always got back to me and helped me plan a great hunting experience.

Joel and Amanda provide a top-tier lodge and outfitting operation in southeast South Dakota. The pheasant hunting and walleye fishing are excellent! We have hunted with them 3 separate years and have always had a super time. Excellent transport to and from the field for hunters and dogs, bird cleaning, packaging and freezing are all included. You will be hard-pressed to find a better lodge anywhere, and I say that from firsthand experience after hunting with a number of outfitters across the country. Comfortable rooms, a lodge full of amenities (see the lodge tour- too many for me to name!) and excellent food- especially the pheasant chili which always seems to be available in addition to whatever is for dinner. If you want a super pheasant hunting experience that will totally spoil you, check them out!
