Upland Wings Preserve

Beautiful rolling fields and great cover make for excellent bird hunting! I have been several times and I look forward to hunting here all year long! Joe runs a fantastic operation with the best prices around and he even let's me bring my own dog 😊

New to hunting? You must go to Upland Wings. We 1. stayed the night in one of the cabins ( really more of a first class lodge) 2. Had a fantastic dinner prepared by Peachy. (There was nothing rustic about her Blackened Quail over a bed of Pimento cheese grits 3. Had a fantastic breakfast 4. Morning hunt, with Neal. For the new hunter, Neal takes all the nervousness out of the experience and you end up shooting a lot of birds. Watching the dogs work is memorable. ROXY WAS INCREDIBLE POINTER.

Hunted UW today for the first time with some business friends and had a wonderful day. The guides were kind, accommodating and skilled in the field. Strong dog work and the terrain offered the right element of challenge and fun. Also, lunch afterwards at the big house is not to be missed - and Peachy is someone special! I look forward to being back in the fields there again soon.
