E. E. Wilson Wildlife Area was a great place to visit and fish. As a handicapped person with limited walking ability, I found the trail relatively easy to navigate with my roller chair. The pond had a reserved area for disabled people. The park was very clean and the pond had some nice fish. I truly enjoyed this experience! The walk to the pond is almost one mile, but there are plenty of benches to rest along the way if necessary. I highly recommend this place!

Went hunting at EE Wilson for deer and pheasant. Saw alot of pheasants, but, can't understand why there are very little signs of deer there! There's plenty of natural food sources and water to support lots of deer, but, kept hearing the shotgun target range with folks popping off shots like crazy! Then, it sounded like an air cannon was being used close by the surrounding farmers maybe. Too much noise for deer to stick around is my guess! We did harvest a pheasant, but no signs of a buck or even a doe to be had! Five stars for the pheasant, is my vote!

Really beautiful area with lots of nice paths to take. Good fishing pond - although it's a bit of a trek from the parking area. Also nice to visit the memorial garden and learn a bit about the history of the place. Please remember you need an Oregon state park parking permit to park here, they're not too expensive and they help pay for keeping areas like this one beautiful for everyone!

I come out here almost daily with my housemate to walk the dog and ourselves. There's a stunning variety of pathways, from fully paved roads, to crushed gravel, fields and grass ways, wooden walkways, bridges, dirt and moss paths. Really a little bit of every kind of walk you could want. The maintenance out here is top notch. We see workers from time to time, and they're always friendly and respectful of social distancing. I've not gone fishing in the lake, but I see folk there regularly and they seem to be having a nice time. The docks and new crushed gravel paths around the lake look fantastic. Recently they've begun to install a series of ADA benches along one of the main pathways to the lake, and I'm thrilled to see it. Accessibility is important! Between this and an accessible hunting blind I found, it's nice to see the efforts being made. I'd highly recommend it here! Bring your dog, just be aware there's some berry thorns throughout.

Nowadays we enjoy coming out here for bird watching walks. A long time ago we used this place to build our son's endurance when he was learning to ride a bike.
