I can’t say enough good things about Sand Creek Outfitters and their team. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The guides were not only knowledgeable and professional but also made the entire trip enjoyable, personal and memorable. Kaleb, the owner, runs an outstanding operation with attention to detail that ensures everything goes smoothly. The food and lodge set up was tremendous. Communication before and during the trip was excellent, so there were no surprises, and all our questions were answered promptly. If you’re looking for a guide service that delivers on every front, Sand Creek Outfitters is the way to go. Kaleb and his team truly go above and beyond to make sure you have a successful and enjoyable hunt. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!
Sand Creek outfitters outdid themselves. We had 3 outstanding hunts. A day of goose hunting, Sandhill crane hunting and a day of duck hunting. All three hunts were great! Guides were good, professional and accommodating! The lodge is very roomy and comfortable! Caleb and his guys really took care of us!
Whitetail, ducks, geese, Sandhill Cranes!!! You name it and they will put you on it! Beautiful lodge sitting on a hill top looking over the rolling hills and fields. It’s and experience in itself just being at the lodge with the views, food and the company! Large rooms, comfortable beds, huge living room and kitchen area, and multiple full size bathrooms. Heated garage to put your gear in if need be or dog in (kenneled of course). Also a hug back porch with a gas fire pit to sit around and tell hunting stories after the hunt. Kaleb runs a top notch outfit and will make sure that you leave happy and with memories that will last a lifetime! I’ve been there numerous amount of times and I can’t wait to go back! I’ve hunted deer, ducks, geese, cranes and even quail and pheasants while up there throughout the few times I have been and each hunt was awesome with accommodations and the game. Also the deer blinds are incredibly nice, very roomy, comfortable and CLEAN! The blinds for ducks geese or cranes may vary on size or layout but each set up they use is also very nice and comfortable with plenty of room! The guides work hard to get you on the best hunt possible, almost seems as if they are working around the clock! I can go on and on and on.. but If you are looking for the hunt(s) of a lifetime… well here is your stop! Thank you Kaleb and to your group of guides for all you do and letting me leave with memories that I’ll remember forever! I’ll be back!
I have been fortunate to travel the continental states with the expressed ambition to seek adventure and connection with people. While I am not personally a big fan of guided operations, there are times when it makes sense. My son is thirteen, and we have made it our annual tradition to search out and plan a destination hunt. Sand Creek offered the best of every dimension that fit our profile. It became obvious upon arrival that Kaleb centered his business around trust: trust in the hunter and trust amongst his staff. We never experienced the "micromanagement style" of whitetail hunting that plagues so many outfitters in this industry. The land and geography were expansive, and the competency of Kaleb and his crew were top notch. Every stand was comfortable, which is noteworthy when asking a young teenager to embrace the perils and challenges of hunting the prime rut, which can mean 10 hours on stand. We experienced plentiful game and passed on multiple mature bucks our first two days afield. The pinnacle of our experience came when Kaleb offered my son the opportunity to spot and stalk a mature whitetail in the center of a wheat field. With Kaleb's knowledge in one hand and a whitetail silhouette in the other, we put a plan together that only happens in magazine stories. While the outcome could have ended with the buck running in the opposite direction, it came full circle to our success. It is something to experience a "rutting" buck close the distance of 150 yards, on what he perceives as a threat. My son harvested the animal with a 125-yard shot. This experience will be something will talk about at his wedding, and possibly at my funeral. Words do no justice. This experience has no price tag. If you interested in something different to curb your whitetail appetite, trust Kaleb and book a hunt. I am forever grateful Kaleb. God speed!
A great experience, great hunts, and even better people. Kaleb and his team work extra hard to put you on birds. As people who hunt regular, we know that every hunt isn't a guarantee for success, hence hunting....but they have always delivered a great memory for our friends and family, most of the time with a stack pile of birds. Highly recommend.
