LAZY S RANCH

Took this pig with Varmint Nightmare Bullets in my wife's AR-15. .223 with 55gr bullet, AR-Comp powder, Starline brass, cci450 primers loaded to magazine length. Hurried shot as scope was set to distance and this hog was very close. He waited (hiding) in the bushes while i adjusted the scope, but i still rushed it and hit just above the shoulder. Kirk and my wife were wondering if i ever was going to take that shot :) He ran out in the open field about 70 yards, did 2 360s and dropped at the Lazy S Ranch is Frederick, OK. Hog hunting with Kirk at the Lazy S is well worth it. I highly recommend the Lazy S Ranch and plan to visit at least once more this year.

Great hunting trip. Kirk (the proprietor) went above & beyond to show me around & maximize my likeliness of success. In just two days I saw about eight deer, four coyotes, tons of wild turkeys, three hogs & even an armadillo. Bagged a nice sized hog & had the meat processed by Whitaker's Wild Game 45 miles away in North Texas. About as good a hunting trip as one could ask for.
