Briarwood Sporting Club

My family and I stayed at Briarwood Lodge for a weekend getaway. My two young grandchildren loved it. Clean well maintained accommodation and a beautiful lake to boat with electric Jon boat provided. The view of the lake and woods from the great room and deck is amazing. The lakeside fire pit provided for a relaxing evening and S’mores for all to enjoy.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have won an overnight trip at Briarwood Sporting Club. They truly have a very unique resort for people like myself that appreciate hunting and fishing in a secluded environment. Although my trip was short it was filled with an incredible experience I will remember a long time. After meeting Drew and Dianna, we were treated to a guided tour of the entire property. Drew told us quite a bit about all the advantages of becoming a member as he showed each of the places to fish and cabins to stay in. Fishing was not as good as I hoped. The water was still too cold for most species to be active. I did meet a trout angler, Mark and he reported catching and releasing 18 trout. There was also an angler there that said he caught over 50 nice bass. In the evening I believe we saw more than 60 deer walking before we returned to our cabin for the night. The amenities surpassed our expectations. There was an outdoor fire pit near the lake we took full advantage of. It was easy starting the fire with the split wood and kindling that was provided. I hope my new friends at Briarwood know how much we appreciate what they do every day to make this club one of a kind Wayne and Carolyn Ramsey

Great experience at Briarwood. It's very peaceful and relaxing. The pic is of a 4lb large mouth out of Little Pine Lake. I recommend fishing by the drain of North Lake. Can't wait to come back!

beautiful property and whole family had a blast. from renting golf cart to explore the property, hiking trails and phenomenal fishing of all different types.

Our family joined Briarwood Sporting Club in August 2024 and have had a wonderful experience as members. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and there are tons of great fishing spots. We have two children and have appreciated how welcoming other members have been - offering tips and encouragement to young anglers. We have taken advantage of fly fishing lessons as well as bass fishing lessons, and both were wonderful opportunities for learning and practice. Highly recommend Briarwood to anyone who enjoys fishing!
