Zephyr Cove Resort

Buyer beware if you book a lakefront property. There are lakefront cabins but that's not what I was given, even though it's what I booked. Then they showed a book to say this cabin was "lakefront". Look at the picture and see if you think this is lakefront to you. It was a special surprise for a milestone birthday and they didn't deliver. On a more positive note, the staff here is wonderful. The food was good and so is the location. They just need better leadership and policies to resolve the false advertising.

This was my third year coming to the Cove for our church retreat, and I love it more every time. The views are beautiful, the whole place is clean and feels super safe. The rooms are nice and roomy, and the food is always so good with a lot of flavor and really hits the spot. What I love most is just being able to get away from the busyness of life. Coming up here gives me space to breathe, reset, and leave feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever comes next. Already looking forward to coming back next year!

Stopped by the restaurant on the way to South Lake Tahoe… The sign said seat yourself so I did and so did the two couples behind me.. Waiter to both those tables>> menus, water & ordered . nobody ever came over to my table… So I walked over to the bar & Asked for a menu so I could order and The gentleman did not care that I hadn’t received any service so I left…. Good luck … plenty of places out there…

Our family stayed in the 2-story chalet cabin and we were impressed with how roomy and clean it was. We also loved our lake view and how close we were to everything (restaurant, gift shop, marina, and beach). It was the perfect home away from home!

The location is fantastic, next to the lake and near downtown. The RV PARK has a lot of trees which for scenery is great but not large RV friendly in the pull thru 65 ft spots. They need to do a better job of identifying which spots shout be for large RVs with tow vehicles.
