Starrynight Ranch
Reviews
I thoroughly enjoyed my first stay at Starry Night Ranch. It was the perfect place to unplug and relax in a beautiful setting. The guest house was clean and comfortable and the meals were delicious. Julie was a great hostess and fun tour guide! Best of all was having the opportunity to learn from her. Her extensive knowledge and fierce passion for horses was inspiring. She gave clear feedback on my riding and shared videos and books with me. I left a better horsewoman and am excited to apply what I've learned. I look forward to returning someday. If you love horses and riding or just want to relax and hangout with awesome people, I highly recommend Starry Night Ranch.
I had a great time with Julie at Starrynight Ranch. The accommodations provided were very clean and cute! Her horses were a blast to ride, and I learned more in my 4 days with Julie than I have in multiple years of taking lessons. I truly felt as if I was apart of a team with Julie. It was such a nice vacation!
My daughter is horse crazy!! She attended Starrynight Ranch two separate summers and loved it!! She started from zero and learned the basics of riding, taking care of the horses, and had a great time meeting new girls. This isn't a send your kids to babysitting camp experience where you ride nose to tail type horses for an hour or two the entire week. The kids will be challenged to learn about horses, roll up their sleeves to take care of them, and spend lots of time riding. Julie is GREAT with the kids and really knows her stuff with the horses. The ranch is BEAUTIFUL with amazing places to explore. We hope to attend again this year, this time with her own horse.
My brother and I recently stayed at the Starrynight Ranch while elk hunting in New Mexico. Julie was a great host and provided excellent meals and boarding. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, I especially liked the fact that after a long day I could take a shower and not run out of hot water. I give the ranch 5 stars and highly recommend it to everyone. Bruce Billings
Starrynight Ranch is a slice of heaven! Beautiful views nestled in the high desert in Laves, New Mexico. A perfect vacation for families, ladies retreats or even just yourself. Head out on a trail ride, improve your horsemanship or just relax and enjoy the views. Either way you are in good hands with owners Tony and Julie. Two good honest people I have known for over twenty years.
