I have had the pleasure to hunt with the team at New Mexico Professional Big Game Hunting a couple times now. I have harvested black bear, mule deer and bull elk with this crew. To say they are fantastic at what they do would be an understatement. This outfit goes above and beyond for their hunters / clients. Every detail of a trip with them is thoroughly thought out- from the accommodations to the 5 star cooking, knowledge of the guides… every aspect of the hunt with them is 5 star. There is not another outfit I want to hunt with when it comes to chasing western big game in New Mexico. They have earned a client for life, I cannot recommend them enough!!

These guys go above and beyond to bring you the best opportunity to kill your trophy of a lifetime! Second time I’ve hunted with them and will return every year if possible! All there hired guides are like family once you leave! Also there cook is the best! Highly recommend hunting with the Chapels!

Awesome trip with my sons and uncle - we had a great time. Guides were top notch and professional too. Food was great, accommodations were generous and comfortable. We will definitely be back next bear season. 5/5 stars without any hesitation.

I have know these guys for 32 years, they have 3 guys that have guided for them for 40 years. Mick, Ben and John are as real as they come, salt of the earth guys. These guys are true mountain men. They live in the Gila 24/7 and are in the mountains every day. My daughters both hunt and they were very good around kids. My youngest daughter is hunting bear with them in a week. They also apply for the big game draw with them. Solid guys

James is a top notch guy. My experience with him was only as a hunter that crossed paths in the field. He could have been frustrated with the competition, but instead we visited and he gave some solid advice that helped me get an awesome bull 2 days later. His willingness to help a fellow hunter afield is commendable. Thanks James - when I have any need for guiding services in the future, I'll be calling!
