Geronimo Trail Guest Ranch

Anyone would be more than lucky to be in the presence of this couple, the horses, and Gila landscape. The time I spent there still burns inside me positively and I look forward to returning again with some family one day. The food Angel cooks is beyond indulgent and the whole atmosphere is just wonderful. I have never been around horses so well cared for it was awesome.

This was a mother-daughter trip. We loved it! Seth and Meris are very welcoming and knowledgeable sharing the history of the Gila National Forest and the people who've lived there. The horses are sweet, well-trained, and well cared for. We felt very comfortable riding for four days even though we hadn't ridden in years. The scenery was beyond spectacular! I felt like I was on a western movie set! And the food. We all couldn't wait to get to the next meal. Stephanie is a gourmet cook. I happily gained five pounds during my stay. You will have a wonderful time!

I really have issue with a business soliciting money for their private business as much as Geronimo Ranch does. The amount of emails they send to their email list and previous clients soliciting donations to feed their horses and help fund their attempt to purchase additional land is beyond ridiculous. Did I enjoy my experience riding in the Gila National Forest- yes! But this is over the top behavior from a business!

This was an amazing experience from the attention to detail in every aspect. The food I was dreaming about long after I left! The accommodations were relaxing and comfortable. The rides were gorgeous and the horses were excellent for beginning riders. One minute you were in a gorge the next you were on a mountain ridge. This was a wonderful experience and rejuvenating from the rush of city life.

We love this place, the owners Meris & Seth have the perfect antidote to life’s stresses. Off the grid, great horses, great food and what a beautiful part of the world…we are biased though, our 4th visit, 10,000 mile return trip UK/NM. On our last evening, sat around the log fire, Meris played Native American pipes, accompanied by her father Harry, 85 years young, on a bass contraption. The moon popped out from behind the Mountains, joining the millions of stars in the sky….perfect! We hope to come again soon….Bob, Isla & Hannah.
