Running Water Hunting

Hands down the best and most thorough experience I’ve ever had on a hunt. The cabin was so comfortable and cozy, feeling more like home than I expected. Being the only female in the house during that week, I appreciated the privacy I had with my own space. The cooking was phenomenal and the cuddles I got from the pups were the cherry on top. Leah was my guide and I couldn’t find a suggestion on how she could have done better if I tried. Her skill and knowledge is top notch and she put me on a beautiful buck. Looking forwarding to returning this year with my husband.

I absolutely love this place. Jordan truly has a hidden gem with her setup. The property is extremely unique and beautiful in its own way. The cabin you stay at is perfectly comfortable and forces you to unplug and relax in between hunting sits. The food and company is great as well. I got the opportunity to meet most of Jordan's family over the week and enjoyed the stories they shared. I had an archery hunt in 2023 that was incredible. I connected on a unique deer with a deformed right main beam. Archery hunting can certainly be a grind but it was worthwhile. This year, I hunted the late season muzzleloader and connected on another great deer. Both trips I've had there I was able to see tons of deer. I'll be back in 2024 for a rifle hunt! Looking forward to many more great experiences.

Had a great early muzzleloader hunt here in December! When booking the trip, Jordan told me if we wanted to see lots of deer and have a great experience then this is the outfitter for you. SO true! We saw so many whitetails, muleys, and even elk I couldn’t believe it! This was a trip of firsts…first out of state hunt, first guided hunt, first spot/stalk, first muley, you name it. To say I was a bit nervous would be an understatement! But Cole was a fantastic guide, patient and got me on multiple deer even after my nerves missed an opportunity on the first night 🤦🏻‍♀️. I was blessed to get my first mule deer on the morning of my 4th day, by spot/stalking from 551 yards to 14 yards. It was an incredible experience that I won’t soon forget! Jordan and her family are beyond welcoming, and treat you like family when you stay here. The lodge is cozy and comfortable, with waterfront views to enjoy in between hunts. They keep you well fed and there’s always stories to share around the dinner table! It’s so good that while we were still on our hunt, my dad and I talked about coming back for a rifle hunt someday. Would definitely not hesitate to recommend Running Water Hunting to anyone!

I had a wild hunting adventure chasing turkeys at Running Water. First day getting on a flock in the wind where I missed a shot with my bow. I thought that would be it but the next day Jordan had me on multiple other birds where I eventually connected on a strutting Tom at 10yrds. The experience was worth every penny! The lodge is a cool old cabin on the river with lots of character and a range out to 1000yrds for rifles off the back deck. I will be returning this fall for deer season. Very much recommend!
