My brothers and I and also some friends have been coming up here for the past18 or so years! It's always been a wonderful experience! We come up in spring and fall for fishing. We met the new owners Jacque and Shannon when they took ownership and immediately we felt like family! These women go out of there way to make you comfortable. It's basically a little piece of paradise tucked in the sand hills near Valentine, Ne. You need to check this place out and you won't be disappointed! You'll meet people from all different states that come here or discovered it thru words of mouth. They do have a Web Site so check it out! Jacque and Shannon we'll see you in the spring! Our stay at Lord Ranch Resort was unbelievably cute and cozy. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-stocked with necessities. Anything we needed was graciously provided by the owners, which helped keep packing to a minimum. However, the beautiful exterior of our lodge was what truly made our experience so wonderful. The cabins are placed on a gorgeous plot of land filled with so much life. From the cows to the horses to the adorable pets, we were kept busy with the animals. And when we weren't occupied taking in all of the critters, the scenic views captivated our attention. The sunsets are beautiful, the blue skies accentuate the rolling green hills perfectly and the stars in the sky were an incredible view at night. I wish we had more time to stay and soak in the delightful atmosphere and all of the exciting tourist destinations that surround the area. It's safe to say we are thankful for the hospitality of the fantastic owners, Jackie and Shannon, and plan to be back as soon as we can!

It was my pleasure to be a guest at this awesome resort last week. I was in the region on an extended fishing trip and while I normally camp, the weather wasn't playing nice and I was so glad to have found such an awesome little place. The beds are addictingly comfortable, all appliances worked perfectly and everything was spotless. The abundant wildlife surrounds you the moment you step out the door. The owners (Shannon and Jackie) are great folks and I enjoyed spending time and talking with them about how they came to own the place, their other lines of work with animals, and hearing about their clientele (largely star gazers, anglers, birders and other nature enthusiasts). My experience there was the 'comfort' polar opposite of camping in insane wind, lightning and rain. And the view from the front door of the giant meadow and sandhills beyond is breath taking throughout the day as the light changes. I recommend it 100%.

Jackie was absolutely the best to work with. She offered us to use her boat, answered any questions we had. The beds were amazing and the cleanliness was spot on. My father and I will definitely be back.

Best kept secret in Nebraska. I love coming here. Incredible owners and idyllic land. Can’t wait to come back
