My son Michael, granddaughter Reece and I just completed a spring turkey hunt with Jim and Riley of Central Nebraska Outfitters. This was an awesome experience. I have hunted turkeys for more than 45 years in 10 different states including with a previous outfitter in Nebraska. I can truly say this was the best, most professional experience I have had. These two were hard working, very knowledgeable, and excellent hunting guides. They knew where the birds were and the best approach to successfully hunt them. There were also lots of turkeys and many options for us. All three of us were completely tagged out (2 birds each) on the second morning. Reece and I were teamed with Riley and I cannot say enough of his professionalism - he is one of the best I ever worked with. The expression on Reece's face in the picture attached tells it all.

I booked a turkey hunting trip with Central Nebraska Outfitters for my son and me; it was a great experience. Jim and Riley are very knowledgeable about the land and the birds they hunt. A friend and I hunted with Central Nebraska Outfitters May 10-12th of 2025. I have to say that it was an absolute great hunt. Riley is an awesome caller and a very professional guide. We were asked what level of activity we wanted to put in and were consistently asked if we were okay and or needed anything (stop for water/food or simply to take a break). We were on birds almost constantly. Turkeys can be turkeys and sometimes leave you frustrated but that is hunting. When we would pick up and move, it wasn’t long before we were back on them. We ended the trip successfully harvesting 3 out of 4 birds. Central Nebraska Outfitters is a top quality business and care about you having a fun, safe and successful hunt. I highly recommend them. My first turkey hunt in Nebraska did not disappoint! Riley went above and beyond. He worked hard to get us on multiple birds, even skipping lunch and hunting late into the afternoon. He also acted as a great local guide, answering all our questions about the area and making the experience even better. Professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated—we’ll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for action-packed turkey hunts this needs to be your outfitter. I first hunted with Riley in the spring of ‘23 and had an unforgettable experience, punching my second tag on the second day. Matter of fact, before leaving Paxton we informed Jim that we’d be back and immediately booked another hunt for the ‘24 season. Different year, same result - tagged out on the second day. Riley is extremely knowledgeable of the properties they hunt and understands the habits of these birds which provides CNO clients ample opportunity for a harvest. Jim is always sure to check in with his hunters ahead of time and provides you with all necessary information needed in order to see that your hunt is a success.
