Nothing good to say about them! Everything they implement and do these days ruins a once very good department. How they do their licenses, to posting lands, to charging extra amounts like the new duck stamp, etc.... the list is very long. Totally misguided. No wonder so many are getting feed up. I can see why so many have given up on hunting or don't follow the laws. Sad!

Northside of Bismarck: Between 57th Washington and LaSalle: people riding various motorized vehicles throughout the protected prairie weekly, Disappointing results after I contacted two local wardens who provided no solution, Just more animal habitats destroyed. Also saw a man and his son holding birds down early Summer, near Sundance Apartments seemingly tormenting them and trespassing near the new construction’s private property. Thumbs down

Office staff good, field staff act like they've got a burr up their duff, especially the waterway folks. Sad to see hunting numbers falling due to mismanagement, fee's, cryptic regulations and draconic staff:-(

Great place to purchase your hunting and fishing licenses with friendly staff. Love taking our kids there so they can walk around and look at all the different mounts of all the animals of ND. Plus you can go for a walk around all the trails or go fishing in the pond outside of the building

So I drove over here from Mandan because everywhere I have went to get a fishing license so I can go fly fishing and by the way I'm still a Colorado resident, I was told I had to come over here to get my fishing license. I get here, you have to have a phone to call in side. Then the person on the other end of the phone was VERY VERY rude!! She spoke over me told me it would cost $50 or $60 to get a seasonal license for an out of state license. I explained how I have NOT been able to get a ND driver's license because of Covid19 and how the DMV is open one week then closed the next....she proceeded to ARGUE with me about how I could obtain one on line she asked if I had a "smartphone" ...... Does they matter? What about the out of state folks that CANT access the internet to obtain a license?!?! Whatever!! The grounds on the other hand are AWESOME!!!!! From what I can tell, but be prepared to be rudely, interrupted by the person on the other side of the phone..... I suggest.... I don't know WHAT to suggest......... Sorry folks..... Good luck getting a fishing license in ND if your not a resident.....just saying...... Not impressed!!!!!!!!!!!!
