I booked the Lions Ledge to celebrate my daughter’s 12th birthday & to spend some quality time with extended family. We had a large group of 13 & this property blew us all away! The views were amazing & the photos don’t do it justice. The kids had plenty of room to run & play in the open field & we enjoyed deer watching throughout the day. The creek nearby made it fun for all to explore with just a short hike down the hill. The home was extremely comfortable for a large group our size to spread out & relax with plenty of room to spare. The kitchen was fully stocked making it easy to cook meals daily. The kids all had a blast downstairs in the game room with plenty of things to keep them entertained. Matt the host was very attentive & a pleasure to talk to. He had many recommendations of fun things to do in the area. Our family had the best time & made many memories here. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful mountain home with close proximity to Yellowstone. We definitely plan to come back next summer! I fished with Matt for 2 days and had an absolute blast. He is super knowledgeable about the waterways in that area, where the fish are and how to get them. Matt couldn’t have been nicer or more patient . A true pro for sure. I would recommend Walker Outfitting to anyone. I will be heading back to fish with and hang out with Matt in the future. What can I say about Lions Ledge! The lodge exceeded our expectations. Great mountain atmosphere for family! The views and wildlife watching off the back deck was constant entertainment. Kids whittling by the nightly fire talking about the adventures we had everyday was priceless. Matt the host was very gracious with help navigating the park and took us on a guided fishing trip which was a highlight for our trip! Highly recommend spending time at Lions Ledge. I used Matt Klumpp as a fly fishing guide on a trip to Montana. Matt really knows his waters and his fish. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment he uses and what flies to use at any specific day or time. He was very helpful, patient and a good teacher. He is an expert with his drift boat. Matt is very friendly and it was alot of fun to fish with him. Highly recommend him.

Matt with Walker Outfitting has a first class operation. He is extremely knowledge and provided excellent guidance for our successful antelope hunt. Game was abundant and blinds provided by the outfitter gave the hunter ample opportunity for success. I have recommended Walker Outfitting to others and plan to return myself.
