Roaming Bison Ranch

Roaming Bison Ranch is just a pasture away from our new home. We are beyond excited about these new neighbors (to us) and just placed a big bundle order. The website was so easy to use and we cannot wait to get some bison steaks out to break in the new grill as well as stock the new freezer. Our next order will be the 1/4 Bison! Might need to envite some friends over.

06/02/25 Update: So excited to have ordered a 10 lb ground bison package as we were running out of our last bit of bison. In the year since we started ordering Roaming Bison Ranch products my total cholesterol and LDL have both been reduced with no other big lifestyle changes. I believe that eating grass fed bison makes for a healthy life. ——- My first purchase from Roaming Bison Ranch was the 1/8 bison bundle. It had a 2-day shipping to me in WA state and it was astonishing that it was frozen SOLID without dry ice due to exceptional packaging. I was happy to taste the ground bison first and it was AMAZING—flavorful, tender and quick cooking using low heat. There was so little fat and water from cooking that I had to take a picture. Definitely will be purchasing more bison from Laura and family at Roaming Bison Ranch.

Placed an order to try Bison meat. Went by ranch to pickup and met Laura. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Being city slickers from AZ, Laura even brought a horse over to visit us. Grilled the bison a few days later. Liked it so much we ordered a 1/4 Bison for fall processing.

Haven't gotten through all the pork yet but the bacon is to die for!!! I also got some ground beef from here and it's the best ground beef I ever had! Even beats a lot of steaks out there... Highly recommended to give them a try.

Delicious, juicy bison burgers! I followed Laura's preparation and cooking instructions and they turned out great. Burger is very mild and next time I'll season with more than salt and pepper. So glad healthy can taste this good!
