We stayed here for five days at a full hook up RV site. Recently the area and park itself was hit by a tornado. This wasn't apparent by the website when we made our reservation. The site we had was clean, though it was not level and required 4" of blocking the tires on our trailer to get it level. The park was fairly empty during our stay so it was quiet and peaceful. The bass pond and walking trail also wasn't accessible, half of the park is fenced and gated off due to construction. This should have been more clearly advertised as it was disappointing to not have access to this. The pool could only entertain the kids for so long. The pool was nice and seemed adequately clean for the number of people using it. The small children's area in the pool is separated from the larger portion and would have been a great place if the water wasn't so cold, it felt to be an almost 20° shift going from the children's pool to the larger pool. The food was gas station quality, they have a nice appearing restaurant with a bar but serve over priced gas station quality food which was a little disappointing. We get our stay with a discount code, if we had paid full price for this stay our rating would be significantly lower. Hopefully they can get the park back up to full operations, and a regular playground for children would be a significant improvement. The convenience store on site had a lot of items available at a mark up. The convenience was worth it for some smaller items, for others Walmart was a short 30min drive to the local town. Staff was helpful and had great customer service.

I cant rate the rooms as we only did a day pass with friends who were there for the week but everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. They had a golf cart which was super fun. The wildlife iis amazing! pool and zip line was a huge plus and we loved the live band.

Stayed for July 4 and enjoyed the campground. This is not our first time camping there and was disappointed in the fireworks show. Very poor from what was done in past years. Also signs posted with speed limits that very few people abide and no enforcement. Scared for kids in the area. Just a couple of points for management to consider. We are already booked for future dates.

First time staying here and I was highly impressed with the location of our campsite . Easy to find pull through spot and I was happy about how spaced out each campsites are . Kids loved spending all day in the lagoon and doing the zip line . We rented a golf cart but after about an hour the one we rented wouldn’t start so we called the office and the gladly gave us a replacement. Overall 10/10 and will be back for the live music and themed weekends .

We camped here before the tornado destroyed it. Going back was upsetting to see the severity of the damage. I pray they come back stronger as ever. The new bar n grill was amazing. Lagoon A+. Zip line was incredible. Alot of things for the kids to do however, you do have to pay for each thing they do. Like crafts etc. Band was perfect. Overall, a great place to go.
