Cypress Point Resort

Great service and great food! Kelly made us feel so welcome! I appreciate her coming over to the table and just hanging out with us. Trey was wonderful...so patient and personable. The portions are huge! The food was phenomenal! I cannot wait to go back and visit Kelly, Trey, and Co at The Tavern!

The safari was so fun. Some animals come right up to the car to eat food and you can touch them. The lunch buffet is fantastic. Great variety, delicious food and super friendly staff. Will be back.

There is a real butcher on staff. He does leave early. They actually have eggs and milk from local farms there. The staff is friendly and you know what, there’s a really kool looking bar outside. I thought that was interesting. I did see a mixed culture entering the establishment while there. One day I will go back to see the entire resort I will give a review at that time as well.

My family & I visited the drive through safari. It was okay. I would recommend renting one of their Jeeps because the animals will get food everywhere inside your vehicle, and they rub all over your car. Some of the zebras get very aggressive with your vehicle and each other, so beware. One started kicking at us. Be aware that during the hotter months, the majority of the animals that aren’t zebras would rather be in the shade than come up to your vehicle.

This place is a hidden gem! We did the petting zoo and it was such a great time! The service was great and the bakery cookies were great as well! Will definitely be coming back to enjoy the other things offered!
