The Bourbon Lodge

Bourbon lodge is by far one of the best places to go in winter or summer, it’s beyond beautiful in both. they have kayaks and canoes and a motor fishing boat, they have bait and fishing poles, they have hiking trails and beautiful scenery, can be a personal swimming lake for the summer visitors they have tons of shooting targets far and near they have 3 bedrooms with 2 full beds and bathrooms in each room, they have large fire place outdoor and nice fire place in doors. The kitchen is simply amazing and even better you don’t have to cool the host stays in the basement and he cooks breakfast lunch and dinner everyday different things daily and he’s an amazing cook, and an amazing person he will laugh and joke with you or he will give you your space, we also brought our puppy who was very unsure and barking at emelio but he made the best of it he playing with her pet her and let her come to him all with a smile on his face! you will not regret visiting amazing place and amazing host!

Bourbon was beautiful​ yet rustic. If you're​ into outdoor adventures and prefer to end a long day with a deliciously-prepared meals and accommodations that rival any 4/5 star hotel...you need to book a night. It was introduced to me as "Pottery Barn meets Bass Pro". Spot on.

I want to say that this was such a great experience for my family and me that we will continue to be back for sure. Beautiful there and so peaceful and so much to do. From swimming to shooting to fishing. Emilio was superb with his cooking with more than enough for seconds for everyone at every meal. You must go here if you need the get away from the city hustle and bustle.
