Mountain Creek Ranch

Mountain Creek Ranch deserves more than 5⭐️in all categories. I honestly can’t find the words to describe the awesome experience we had!!! From the first time I called and talked to Renee about MCR to driving away today, they exceeded every expectation in accommodations, activities, food, but most of all the people. The Lodge had high end decor, furnishings and amenities. It’s so hard to find vacation destinations for ages 6 to 65 but MCR kept all 12 of us busy and happy from sun up when kids would run out to help Goober feed the horses to sun down with fire pit s’mores and in between with horse trails, mountain ride and cattle drive, clear water pond full of fish and great place to cool off and a shooting center that rivals any place we’ve been. They also had farm petting zoo, playhouse with ac and chicken coop with farm fresh eggs. All the food at the cook out, picnic lunch and chuckwagon meal was farm to table, homemade, delicious meals. BUT by far the best assets were Phil, Renee and Goober. They went above and beyond to meet our needs and make sure we were having fun every step of the way. Renee was available anything we needed, served gourmet food on the go, took care of every detail and had fresh flowers and homemade goodies upon arrival. Goober made sure everyone had the right horse, saddle and stirrup size. He was willing to take as many as they had horses and on our schedule. All 3 days of us riding, switching riders and saddles, he remained patient and funny. He even let our gchildren teach him the gritty. When the owner took time to come drive the covered wagon on our cattle drive and treated us like family, you’ve found the reason this is by far the BEST vacation destination our family has ever experienced in our 10 years. IF YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A DUDE RANCH EXPERIENCE, look no further because it doesn’t get any better than Mountain Creek Ranch!!

Amazing stay and great ranch experience at the mountain Creek ranch ! Phil and Kim are the sweetest hosts and make sure that we were not missing anything during our stay ! ! Big shout out to their staff as well, Renee, goober and everyone else, who make sure that we get a full ranch life experience : daily life duties, horse riding, trap shooting, wagon ride to name a few! A very nice getaway weekend! Many thanks again, this weekend will have a special place in my heart for a long time 🤠🤍

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mountain Creek Ranch! My daughter and I had an unforgettable day filled with adventure, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. We enjoyed a cattle drive that was both exhilarating and deeply memorable, followed by a delicious, homemade meal that felt like it came straight from the heart. The property is absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained while preserving its rich history and charm. After riding with the cattle, we explored the peaceful woods on horseback, soaking in the natural beauty all around us. When we returned, a cozy fire was waiting, along with a hot meal, a whole cake, and two kinds of homemade cookies. We truly felt cared for in every way. A special thank you to Renee for being so thoughtful and accommodating of my daughter’s food allergies—it meant the world to us. The ranch has so much to offer: a petting zoo, a shooting range, a peaceful pond, and charming accommodations. Although we didn’t stay overnight, we got a peek at the loft above the barn—and it’s definitely calling us back! The horses were gentle, clearly well cared for, and a joy to ride. Every part of our visit was perfect. Thank you, Gobber, Renee, and Brandi, for creating such a magical experience. We can’t wait to return!

By far the coolest place we’ve seen in over a month travelling through the USA. Rene is the kindest host and a great chef. Goober is just the coolest guy who showed us the ranch taught us how to ride horses and a lot more. They promised us the experience of a lifetime and they delivered. We are sad we had to leave and will definitely come again. (Sorry if I misspelled the names)

MCR accommodated our group of 18 for a birthday gathering. They were so inviting and warm and really blended with our group so well. It was like we were there visiting friends we have known for years. The scenery is gorgeous and relaxing. The animals are well cared for and used to people. Their lake is stocked with nice bass. We spent quite a bit of time at disk shooting range which is top of the line. The horse back riding is nothing like your typical group trail rides. Lastly, if you have the option to have a ribeye or fillet mignon dinner, take it. Best fillet mignon I have EVER had! We will definitely be back!
