Blue Springs Ranch

Stayed in a very nice cabin. It was nicer than many travel lodgings I have had. We did the 5 mile float with kayaks and a couple rafts. The water flowed just fast enough to keep the rafts moving at a decent pace. There was enough width to the river so that it did not seem crowded at all. It is a very easy float if you are new to it or you just want to relax for the day. I have stayed at Blue Springs Ranch a few times and never had a complaint.

I celebrated my bachelorette party this past weekend at Cabin 21! I would highly recommend! Private Pool- My ladies and I did not have to leave the cabin all weekend! 2 refrigerators! 1 for food and 1 for drinks! This was absolutely perfect for a group of people! Can't wait to celebrate my wedding here next month!

We did the 5-mile float trip with a canoe on a Wednesday morning and had the river almost to ourselves. With multiple stops and a pace not much beyond that of the river's flow, it took us 2.5 hours. Check-in was easy and efficient, the bus left right on schedule with plenty of life jackets and cushions for the quick trip to the drop-off. The best part is getting out where your car is parked so there's no waiting for a shuttle. Thanks for staying reliable and even improving through the years. Nice work.

We did the 5-mile float on a Friday morning and had 4 people and a medium-size cooler in a 6-person raft, which was a good amount of space. Took turns paddling with the 2 oars provided. Scenery was beautiful, water was clear and mostly calm, and the staff at the office, on the bus, and on the on/off ramps were very friendly and helpful. Recommend sport sandals or tennis shoes with good tread, as the entry ramp is steep and a bit slippery. Thank you:)

We love blue springs. Easy drive from Illinois and so fun. We always end up getting there late and I’ve called when we are close to let them know it will be after hours, they have waited for us and are so nice! The river stretch is great and there is river access from two points of the campground. The only downside was the last time we were there, there was a tornado when we were on the river, we tried to get off half way but were told we had to float on. We Couldn’t call them to tell them we needed off and they didn’t come look for us
