MaXXed Out Guides Lodge

Had an amazing hunt under unusual circumstances. Snow and weather pushed our hunt from South Dakota to Kansas. Which added a 5 hours to our travel. Totally worth every minute of extra driving. Guides were awesome, if it spread flared a single pack of geese, guides were not afraid of changing stuff right away to get birds in. They were easy to get along with and answered any questions asked. Furthest we drove from lodge was half an hour which was great. Lodging was very nice. I will definitely be a repeat costumer! See ya next spring for sure!

This was my second time hunting with Maxxedout Guides. The first time I came with my dad and brother, I had so much fun I decided to come back (all the way from Colorado) with 2 friends the second time! We had a blast! Our guides (Dalton and Marcus) were on top of calling in birds and scouting amazing spots. I will definitely be returning again.

Had a remarkable hunting experience with Maxxed out and will definitely be returning. The positives are great people, excellent guides, wonderful old school hunting lodge (a couple exceptions to be noted later). Cannot say enough about the guides and staff. These guys worked their tails off to find us ducks and put us in prime locations to be successful each day. The only real remarks I would have about things to be changed or improved would be the following. First the care taker of the lodge, I cannot remember her name was the sweetest, warm and welcoming lady. However she was having a terrible time with some sort of sewer odor in the utility, laundry area of the lodge. Whatever it is it needs to be fixed cause when she left the door open, which was no more than necessary cause she knew there was a problem the whole lodge would be consumed with the worst sewer smell possible. Second thing to note and we understood cause we are from the country ourselves but the well water is strong country well like and very strong sulfur ordor when you shower ect. We were kinda used to it and understand country well water but anyone not familiar this would be a unpleasant experience. I would describe the facilities as the Chevy truck of hunting experiences. Solid, serviceable and dependable but not really flashy with some blemishes along the way. Grounds and lodge could be spruced up a bit in all fairness but we're not there for upscale accomodations we are there for quality hunting. Only note that because some people are big-time into fancy Overall we had a blast and loved every minute and will definitely be back next year. Will add on a afternoon pheasant hunt next year as area is prime for pheasants. If I had to letter grade our experience a solid B+ to A-

What a great weekend. Graham and his crew (Mike, Hayden, Soren,…) were fantastic. Our group of seven had an awesome time and got to shoot a bunch of geese. The lodge was very nice. Although we didn’t really get to take advantage of the grill, fire pit, or sand volleyball court, it is a great place to stay. Highly recommend MaXXed Out Guides and Lodge! 👍🏻

First time hunting Canadian Geese, and it was great time!!! Graham and his crew do a phenomenal job guiding and setting up for hunters. Hit our limit the first morning and did well the second day. They do their very best to scout and set you up for success, even though the birds might not always cooperate. I went on this hunt not knowing a single person and came back with a new group of friends! Will definitely be back for the hunt next year! :)
