Circle R Ranch

Circle R will always have a special place in my heart. I was a camper three summers in a row beginning at age 10 and I just was a camper again during Mother Daughter week. My daughter can I had such a fun time riding every morning and participating in the activities in the afternoons and evenings. We got to swim at the lake twice, sing karaoke, play trivia, outdoor games, bareback ride and tell scary stories by the campfire. This is a true traditional camp experience. I never want it to change :). Cannot wait for next summer!

Camp Review - CRR My child had an absolutely wonderful time at CRR! The campers were fantastic, the horses were beautiful, and the food exceeded our expectations. The overall atmosphere and company made for a truly memorable experience. A big shoutout to the staff! They were so friendly and specifically Lilly. My kiddo said she’s her new best friend and could stop talking about how kind she was. I do have a couple of suggestions that could enhance the camp experience: Horse Care Considerations: During pickup at 10 AM, I noticed the horses remained tacked and tied to posts for a hour, had a multi-hour horse show and we were told to tie them back to the posts and still there when we left at 1 PM. The horses appeared tired and thirsty, and I didn't observe them being offered water during this time. Since we always provide water for our horses after riding, I wanted to mention this observation. Cabin Maintenance: The cabin had a musty odor that might benefit from some attention, maybe a dehumidifier and a new AC would do the trick. Despite these minor concerns, this was truly a glorious experience for my child, and we appreciate everything the camp offers. With some attention to horse welfare protocols and cabin maintenance, CRR could be even more outstanding than it already is. Overall Rating: Highly recommend - just hoping to see continued improvement in animal wellness practices.

I love this place so much!! We did so many things like arts and crafts, swimming in a lake, doing camp out on Wednesday's, karaoke night, and dance nights, movie nights, and so much more. Everyone is SO nice, and the horses are well taken care of! My horses name was Rayne and I love and miss him all the time. Savannah the owner and her siblings help out with the ranch and are also SUPER nice and funny ! You do have to bring your own bed sheets, blankets, and pillows, but other than that it's so fun! Vera, one of the Counclers was my most favorite councler ever and no Offence to the others. 😅 I got to pie her in the face for fun and it was so fun! Love circle R so much! And MUST come back next year! ❤🙃

My girls have gone for a week for the past 2 summers. The facilities are not fancy but the staff is always amazing! The horses appear well cared for and safety measures are all in place. They have done a great job with our food allergies as well. We will be signing up for next year!

Daughter went for 1 week camp. She enjoyed it a lot to wanting to go again next year. Only gripe she had was how they organized groups as her group rarely rode to their destination but instead turned around halfway due to some inexperienced riders and horse behavior issues. Highly recommend as a summer camp with horses but not as a horse riding camp exclusively.
