BEWARE: The owner Dave Patrella is delusional, egocentric, self-absorbed and wickedly selfish. He will belittle you and take advantage of anyone he can. He hired us at Goenner Tree Service to help clean up after the ice damage this spring, and one week into the month long clean up he took off overseas and was unreachable. When he returned to the U.S, he found out he didn’t have the insurance coverage he thought he had, and flat out told us he wasn’t going to pay us. I had to beg him just to get half of the money he owes us, and the worst part is we both are from the same local community in Mt. Pleasant and I went to school with his daughter and know the family. His excuse to not pay us was that we over charged him because we charged him for drive time to his property. I’ve begged and pleaded for him to pay us the rest for the hundreds of hours we spent working at his sanctuary, but to absolutely no avail. Many of the locals in Lewiston told us many stories while we worked there of how rude, aggressive and disparaging he is to them. Dave Patrella thinks he’s “god” and will screw over anyone. Go somewhere else for your big game hunt.

I recently had the pleasure of hunting at PK Game Ranch in Michigan, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best hunting experiences I've ever had. The ranch is home to some of the biggest deer and elk I've ever seen, and the hospitality of the staff was second to none. I was greeted by Danae, the hostess, is great. She made my party feel right at home and the food was all delicious. The cabin we stayed at had a beautiful view of a lake which had lots of wildlife around it. The guides were very knowledgeable and professional. I ended up taking down a beautiful buck, and I couldn't have been happier. The ranch is well-managed and the animals are well-cared for, and it's clear that Dave, the owner, takes a lot of pride in his operation. Overall, I had an amazing experience . Highly recommend it.

The hunting experience at PK Game Ranch in Michigan was great from the get-go. The warm welcome from Danae, a charming and heartwarming person to know, will give you that good, old-fashioned "I am home" feeling. You'll just love the accommodations. I found them to be fantastic. It so wonderful to see all the beautiful views of the lake, trees, and wildlife even if you don't hunt. If you are hunting, you won't find a better group of guides as they, too, are all top-notched. You will be impressed with their professional experience and even more happy with their expertise concerning the deer and elk on the ranch. Dave, who is the owner, takes pride in providing you with best hunting experience. I agree with the recommendations preceding this one. You can't go wrong booking an experience here. I fully endorse and recommend it. Best hunting decision you can make!

My wife and I had a wonderful time. We were made to feel like family, the food was excellent, our guide (Matt) was amazing. Dave and Matt worked tirelessly until we both had great success. A awesome place with really good people. Thank you Dave and Danae for the experiences we will never forget.
