Wilderness Lodge Outfitters

I stayed at Wilderness Lodge for first week of bear season 2025. The area is beautiful, the lodge was nice and the food was amazing. I was fortunate to have a shot opportunity my first afternoon and harvest my first bear. I would book again regardless of the outcome. Ted, Tyler, Seth and JR were knowledgeable and easy going. Crissy and Buster were responsible for the good food. A+ experience.

Stopped in from the atv trails on a group ride we had a 15 people they where offering smashed cheese burgers and fries for lunch. Came time.to settle up our bill and all they wanted was donations for lunch. Great simple burger and tasty fries. On it a must.stop when we ride through

We went to the lodge at Taylor’s recommendation when he learned we wanted to hit some trails on the side by side. We were able to zig-zag through TONS of blueberry fields and make our way to the Down East Sunrise Trail. Good for either a quick trip or a long haul. There was a lot of new gravel down, so the trails were in great condition. There were a few spots to hit puddles too, if you’re into that sort of thing…

Great place to SxS from. Access to trails that can take you all over Down East Maine.

Booked a youth day bear hunt for 2025. They were professional, answered all my questions and were very responsive. Can’t wait to get out in August.
