Amazing experience all around! This was my first bear hunt and my first time going through an outfitter as well, so I really had no idea of what to expect. Tyler was excellent at answering the many questions I had; traveling, transport, tags, customs, and of course bear... Tyler was able to get me through it all. The accommodations were great, was spacious enough for six hunters and never felt cramped at all. The food was literally amazing, Monique is an exceptional cook. 3 home cooked meals a day, all unique, and each one excellent. The hunting was great, I was fortunate enough to have a lot of activity on my bait... so just seeing the bears was awesome enough. I thankfully was able to fill my tag on Wednesday with a nice white patch sow. Shaun our guide is another person at camp that is exceptional at their craft. While I was fortunate enough to being seeing a lot of bear, other guys in our group where not seeing a lot of activity at their site. Shaun was constantly evaluating the sites, cameras, weather, etc... and made excellent calls to move the guys around so that we all managed to tag out in our group. All of the staff truly do put the customer / hunter first, wanting nothing more than for everyone to have a successful hunt. All of the guides were very personable and provided tons of knowledge. I would highly recommend Sportsman's Pride to anyone looking for a wonderful bear hunting experience. I made some great friends and I will definitely be coming back again.

If you’re looking for an adventure, this is where to start. This entire experience was one for the books. Tyler and Scott run a top notch business that just so happens to coincide with our mutual love for hunting and the outdoors. You arrive as Family and leave as Family. Lodge review: comfortable,CLEAN, organized, and spacious. Guide review: Shaun and Bob were doing everything in their power to put us on the bear. Analyzing data and looking for patterns/trends as they should. They were very knowledgeable and personable people. Both have over 50 years of combined experience and have your success as their best intentions. They are bloodhounds when it comes to tracking and 2 of the best in the business(if not the world). Food review: I’d pay just to come back for the food. 3 FULL hot meals a day, perfectly timed. Monique does a fantastic job providing for the hunters and staff when it comes to food accommodations. There wasn’t one meal I did not like, all meals were 5/5 stars. * Think of it as you having your grandma cooking your favorite meals all day for a week.* Overall review: This experience not only better/humbled me as a hunter, but as a man. I learned a lot about myself, the world (Canada),and the Forrest. No matter what your hunting experience level is, this is a trip that you’ll benefit from. Tyler and the entire Sportsman's Pride crew are top-notch. He does the work and puts in the time to get you on ducks. We hunted three days and had ample opportunities each day. This was my first duck hunt in Maine, and I definitely plan to go back. Thank you, Tyler.

This was my first ever waterfowl experience and boy was I spoiled by Sportsman Pride Outfitters - the lodging, food, service & knowledge provided by Tyler Sellers and his team was first class. I went with a group of 6 and we was provided a variety of hunts, on the boat, on islands, and in the field - more importantly, our group had a few trophies and ducks they wanted to shoot and our guides were able to help deliver that and check boxes off our bucket list. This will be a 3 day hunting experience I’ll never forget and will share with many. I highly recommend Sportsman Pride Outfitters and cannot wait to return next year.

Even though I did not get a bear this year, the trip was still well worth it. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had. It is amazing how much work Tyler and his dad put into the hunt. Throughout my stay Tyler treated us all like family and our guides Shawn and Bob were great as well. If you are looking for an Outfitter, Sportsman’s Pride is the one. Thank you guys for a great week.
