Spaulding Lake Outfitters

4th year back to Spaulding Lake and once again it was like coming home to family. Where to begin is the challenge here. First the home cook meals by Lisa that rival my mothers cooking, the hospitality from the staff that makes you comfortable day 1. Then there’s the hunting, by time I got there the guides had been working the hunt sites for weeks, figuring out the best opportunities for the hunter’s. This year I got Chuck and for the second year in a row I got my bear, a monster of a bear. I’ve been hunting Spaulding Lake for 4 years and should have had 3 bears but blew my shot one year, that’s hunting. The hunter experience always comes first here and I love the staff and accommodations. Adam and his guides work hard to give everyone an opportunity at a bear, the hunters during my stay either saw or took a bear, all but two I think saw bear. I will be back next year and hopefully Chuck and I can continue our streak, but if not I know I will enjoy myself because they always make certain they do everything in their control to make sure I do. Had an unbelievable time with Spaulding Lake Outfitters this week. First and most importantly , the people here are amazing. The guides bust their tails day after day to help you have a great hunt and the best opportunity to harvest an animal . Lisa's food is just like eating your moms cooking. I doubt there is another outfitter around that will feed you like this. I've always had an appreciation for hunting over hounds, and for me watching Chucks dogs work was the best part of the hunts. My buddy and I tagged out by Wednesday with 2 beautiful Black Bears. You'll leave this place feeling like you made several new friends. It's a hard place to leave but we will absolutely be back . Thanks again to Adam, Lisa ,Chuck, Casey and Nate for everything . Can't forget Honey and Wyatt as well !

My son and I spent the week this October Hunting grouse and woodcock We had a amazing time Everyone there were very Friendly and Helpful The cabins were very clean and the lodge is very cozy Lisa served amazing food for dinner We can’t wait to go back next fall And spend a few days snowmobiling there this winter

What a first class outfitter! Our cabin was perfect, a stream running right next to it. Our guide, Adam Burke was incredible. We had a special needs hunt due to physical limitations and he planned everything to accomplish the hunt. His wife, Lisa is the camp cook and everything is home-made. We got our moose and got it out of a cut and into the truck in 2 hours. Adam had everything needed with him and the plan to pull it off. We all felt like old friends by the end of the week, it truly was a hunt of a lifetime! I would most definitely recommend them to anyone I know looking for an outfitter.

Had a great adventure with Spaulding Lake Outfitters. The hunt was certainly exciting, but more importantly you leave with a great collection of new friends and memories. The team is accommodating, super friendly, knowledgeable, and goes out of their way to make the trip just a great time. Greatttt food everyday, and accommodations are just enough to feel detached, yet have everything you need to feel relaxed and at home. Id love to say this was a once in a lifetime trip, but I will definitely be going back!
