Rustic Retreat Lodge

Amazing place only 30 minutes from presque isle but still so secluded and quiet. Owners amazing and nice as can be. House is beautiful and very functional. Tons of sleeping options plenty of bathrooms. More then worth the price! Easy to find and tons of lakes and streams around to go explore. Sw moose with a baby on way in lots of wildlife to see. Maine at its finest

I used Rustic Retreat and Dead North Adventures for my 2024 September Moose Hunt. The experience was everything I dreamed of and the team went out of their way to provide the hunt I requested. I got a 51” monster after the biggest adrenaline rush of my life. It was clear they put in the time pre season scouting! The lodge was fun any full of laughter. I made a bunch of new friends. The location is perfect and the accommodations are excellent. I thank the team for everything!!!

We had a snowmobile race in the area so we stayed here and we were all so glad we did! Jason and Terri Williams have a beautiful lodge with plenty of rooms and beds for the whole family or a large group of friends. Very large living areas and even a complete bar room! It is right on the snowmobile/atv trails so its perfect for a riding trip, hunting or fishing trip with their accompanying guide and tracking services, or even just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Would absolutley recomend to anybody and we are already planning another trip up! Thank you Jason and Terri!

My father and I experienced the lodge during a bull moose hunt. The owners, Jason and Terri, made us feel right at home. Our rooms and lodging were far above our expectations for a hunting trip. They and their guide staff are extremely knowledgeable of both the wildlife and area being hunted. They had planned long before our arrival for main and backup plans. They had scouted and done their homework which resulted in us seeing a legal bull only hours into the first day. By the second day we had a 820lb bull on the ground by 1:00. The food was great, but the people were amazing. 5 stars isn’t enough for the experience we had. Hunt of a lifetime.

I really enjoyed my first stay at the Lodge! I am heading back up today from southern Maine to escape the hustle and bustle and reach out to the peaceful surroundings and views offered by the property. The owners of Rustic Retreat Lodge do everything they can to ensure your stay is fantastic. Life long friends in the making and to be honest I consider them family already!! See you in about 5 Hours.
