Pine Grove Lodge and Cabins

The rustic charm of the inside of the cabin is sort of what we were expecting upon arrival. Unfortunately, we were not anticipating the double booking of the cabin and someone else waiting in the driveway when we were just trying to go back to the camp saying they booked it as well. We attempted to call and no one answered. Left a message with no response unfortunately. Luckily the other people were very kind and understood they arrived after us and they knew we were up celebrating our anniversary, so they left to find other accommodations. The beds were very comfortable, unfortunately I did not see mouse droppings until after I slept in the bed. Hopefully their house cleaner will see it. Again, location was quaint and close to town but wished we were able to speak to anyone about the issues we had.

I've been going to Pine Grove Lodge now for several years with my grandson and brother. Hopefully it will become a long lasting tradition. The food and lodging are terrific but as anything else it's the people that make the difference. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I've been hunting a long time and hunting with Bob Howe is a relaxing, positive and informative experience. His knowledge and respect for all aspects of hunting and the animals he hunts is a wonderful example of the ethics all hunters should take note of. Sincerely Larry Small

Fantastic on all fronts! What more can I say, Bob and Andrea are great people. They are always so accommodating and friendly. If looking for a place to stay up in this neck of the woods, we wouldn't go anywhere else!

We loved our stay in the rustic cabin. Everything was clean and necessities thoughtfully provided. It's so peaceful here. I'll definitely come again.

Great Get A Way for Families and in the MAINE Woods. I give only 4 Stars, I feel their should be Horse Shoe Pits, Volly Ball and more outdoor Activities.
