North Country Lodge

North Country Lodge did not disappoint. Amazing food. Amazing guides. I cannot say enough about how much effort and time our guides put into our hunt to ensure the experience was one of a kind. Not just our guides but all the guides. They helped one another and supported the lodges hunts. The goal was for every hunter to leave with a bull and the team , the family feeling made the experience. As an out of state hunter I felt at home. Best hunting experience of my life. They truly took a once in a lifetime experience and elevated it to level I never expected. 100% recommend North Country Lodge for your next hunting adventure. I hope I get an opportunity to go back!

Maine bear hunting at its finest! Brett and Aliza are doing things right at The North Country Lodge. A homestyle atmosphere around camp with incredible homemade meals by Aliza every day. Professional guides were easy to talk to and their knowledge was shared with the hunters. Although I did not harvest a bear during my hunt, I will be returning as soon as my schedule allows.

North country lodge is a top notch organization . I have been to a variety of different outfitters while they all shined in their own ways , Brett and Aliza take it to the next level!! The lodge was like a home away from home, the food was excellent the guides really went above and beyond to try and make your hunt a success. They put every effort to accommodate every hunter and help them make the most of their experience. They are really a first class group. I can’t wait to get back up there and try one of the other types of bear hunts they offer.

Fantastic place. Highly recommend for your hunting needs. Food is fantastic and the guides are very knowledgeable of the area and places that have the best activity.

I had a wonderful experience at this lodge. I was a first time bear hunter, but have been on several hunts in my home state of Indiana as well as some hunts out west and south. I must say that this place exceeded my expectations although the group I went with had previous experiences at this lodge. Accommodations at the lodge were top notch. The food could not have been better even if we searched out a 5 star restaurant nightly. We were taken care of from the time we woke up til we laid down for the evening. The professionalism of the guides were second to none. They were patient with questions and were honest in their answers. They believe in ethical harvesting of game and are thorough in their processing. The friendships cultivated in a welcoming environment have made me realize that I need to go back as soon as I can. These are experiences that you cannot explain and MUST be a part of to understand. I will be returning in the future along with more friends. I hope to see some of the friends I made there returning as well.
