October of 2022, I was able to a trip and hunt with Dan. Wow what a experience. Dan is a top notch guide, runs a proven productive outfit. We were on game everyday, seen a ton of Dan's property & country. Breath taking scenery to say the least. The Maine north woods is a truly amazing sight. Had bears each day, even ones we didn't choose to pursue. The moose where incredible, some large cocker's as I was instructed. For those who haven't booked a hunt with Dan I recommend you do. Once in a lifetime experience. The food and hospitality was amazing.

Dan is a great guide. We all had a awesome week hunting with him and camp was always a good time. The st John river is quite the sight and the remote woods are always fun to peaceful to hunt. Most of us were successful deer hunting with him and we got bonus ruffed grouse and moose antlers. I'll definitely be back.

Hunted moose with Dan. Great experience. Saw moose everyday. In over 40 years of going on guided hunts Dan is by far the best guide I have ever hunted with. His knowledge is unsurpassed and his willingness to teach and share made the trip even better. Food was great! Looking forward to going back for bear.

Great Northern Outfitters is an amazing experience. The area is stunning. It is beautiful and full of wildlife. They are returning the Plott Hound breed to their original form. The dogs put us in close proximity to bears over and over again. We were able to see so many bears up close. I am bringing my family up to see bears. I can’t think of a better place to go during warm months. It has my highest recommendation.

My first time was 2015 and I've been back every year since. That ought to tell you all that you need to know. No one will work harder to get you the trophy you are looking for. Dan is the best guide and outfitter you will find anywhere. His knowledge of the woods and the animals we pursue is unsurpassed. The fabulous food, camp humor and camaraderie, as well as the GNO crew will make your experience one you will never forget. Life is short...don't wait!
