Foggy Mountain Guide Service

For my first ever black bear hunt, I couldn’t have imagined a better experience or better guide service. The attention to detail, and work these guys put in to give you the best possible chance at harvesting one is astounding. Brandon and Charlie both were a wealth of experience and answered every question we could think of asking. The accommodations are also perfect and make the trip worthwhile even if you don’t get a bear. Everyone at Foggy Mountain Guide Service deserves credit for creating a truly amazing atmosphere for a hunt. Hoping to be back next year!!

I recently just concluded my first bear hunt with Brandon at Foggy Mountain and it was better than I expected. The experience started with a check in at their headquarters where I met Brandon and his wife who was there checking everyone in. They were both extremely welcoming and provided detailed answers to all my questions. I was then escorted to my cabin where I would be spending the week and it was rustic and very comfortable. The following morning Brandon took all us hunters to our individual sites and they were very spread out which made me feel like I was not going after the same bear someone else may be hunting. I saw bears each night and eventually took one. After taking my shot, Brandon took care of the rest. He took good care of the meat and hide as well as recommended an outstanding taxidermist. Overall, my experience was excellent and I can’t wait to bring a buddy or two back with me next year. I highly recommend Foggy Mountain.

Foggy mountain guide service was absolutely awesome! I was recently right arm below elbow amputated do to a work injury and the guide Jessie and Brandon were so helpful to me and also to the 4 other guys in my group of friends! We all got very nice bears! The guides work so hard to get you on bears! The whole entire staff work constantly to make your stay comfortable! The gals in the kitchen and cleaning was just unreal! I truly recommend foggy mountain guide service to anyone! I plan to go back for sure!Nick Asher

This being my first ever guided hunt and after doing a bunch of research… decided to hunt with Brandon at foggy mountain guide service and it paid off.. went the first week of season even though the weather wasn’t in our favor we still seen some action and I was able to take my first black bear and multiple other clients killed bears .. Charlie was our guide for the week.. can’t say enough good things about Brandon and Charlie… both worked very hard baiting and making sure their clients has the best chance possible as well has helping out after the shot.. highly highly recommend foggy mountain guide service! Will definitely be back!

Had a great hunt...shot my bear first day pouring rain. Brandon and his crew were great. Highly recommend these guys. My buddy shot a huge bear later in the week. We will definitely be back for another hunt. Thanks Brandon for everything.
