My daughter (5 yrs) and I both ride here and it is a wonderful stable. The horses are well trained and sweet and our instructor, Karen, takes safety very seriously. Every horse has its good days and bad and part of riding is learning about how your horse is feeling and how to deal with it. While riding can be a dangerous sport, karen takes every precaution. Each instructor is a bit different but they all love horses and teaching. They have many free activities for the kids to engage in that are perfect for the horse obsessed. I love the responsibility and confidence my daughter is learning and seeing modeled by the older kids.

The horses were very good, but the instructors put us last so we got a tired and grumpy horse that we had to unpack every day of the second week

My daughter rode here for years. The place really deteriorated under new management. They used to be a nice little place, nothing fancy or too organized but like a big family. New management increased prices significantly, did not really improve service at all and all the civility is gone. They don't even respond to emails from clients. Seems like the place has been taken over by some money-hungry and uncaring people. Too bad, it's a nice spot and they had some good horses.

This is a diamond in the rough. Not pretentious. Excellent animals, absolutely no personality problems with any of them. Various social programs available for children - trips to horse shows, parades. Children and adult riders can get all the exposure and experience in the actual barn that they want, or very little if that's what they want. The tack is well cared for. The riding facilities are very well groomed. The instructors are highly classified - look at the website and check them out. You will not find a better place to ride, especially if you are looking for a place for your children to learn not just about riding, but about life at a stable, and in turn, life in general.

My 6 yr the of daughter did a one wk camp. This was her first time riding and taking care of horses. She loved it. The lady running it Karen her assistant Cathryn, and volunteer helpers were all excellent, very caring and really made this a fantastic experience. Our daughter is already asking to return
